Disclaimer: I am not a professional- just a girl who loves sewing and upcycling clothes. If you think I’m doing something wrong or can do it better, then by all means - go buy a dress, film yourself cutting and sewing, and create and edit a video yourself because I ain’t got time for opinions 😂
This really is a pretty easy upcycle - and I tried to show/explain as much of the steps as I could, but I’m sure there will be questions!
Note: While this is an easy upcycle - you should at least be familiar with basic and beginner sewing techniques! I do not give “total beginner” instructions unfortunately, but many can be found on YT, TikTok, and Reels (it’s how I learned 😉).

Neither have pockets.

This dress was supposed to be a flowy graphic maxi with a drawstring waist, but the style of skirt made it WAY more fitted than I planned.
I was going to redo it, but the more I looked at it, the more I loved it!😍🥰❤️
