A great moment for Muncie Community Schools at Saturday’s Ball State football home opener!

We’re fortunate to work with school districts all across Indiana, but this one is right in our backyard. With Boyce headquartered just down the street, we’re especially proud to see the progress being made by Muncie Community Schools and to celebrate our hometown schools.

MCS recently reached a 90% high school graduation rate, including a 100% graduation rate among Black female students. Third-grade reading proficiency also climbed to 86%, up nearly 7 percentage points from last year.

Saturday was also a nice reminder of the unique partnership between MCS and Ball State University -- and what can happen when schools, universities and communities work together.

Congratulations to Superintendent Chuck Reynolds, the MCS School Board, teachers, staff, students and families!

How Indiana Districts Are Streamlining Teacher and ECA Contracts 08/05/2026

Contract season can feel like a marathon for school business offices.

Teacher contracts, ECA assignments, salary calculations, payroll updates, signatures... it's a lot to manage, and every step matters.

During a recent Boyce Amplify Webinar, we asked more than 100 Indiana school districts where contract season takes the most time. The answers were remarkably consistent—and they point to opportunities to simplify the process while maintaining the accuracy schools depend on.

Our newest blog shares practical tips for making contract season more efficient, along with lessons learned from districts across Indiana.

If you're already thinking ahead to your next contract cycle, we hope you'll find a few ideas worth borrowing.

We loved opening our doors last week to host leaders from nine East Central Indiana school districts at our office.

As schools prepare for another exciting year, it was a great opportunity to connect, share ideas, and talk about the challenges and opportunities facing K-12 business offices. We always learn as much from these conversations as we hope our customers do.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We truly value the relationships we've built over the years and appreciate the opportunity to partner with so many incredible school districts.

Best wishes for a fantastic school year -- we're cheering you on and look forward to supporting you every step of the way!

What a great couple of days at Joy Jam 2026!

We were proud to sponsor and attend this incredible event at Eastern Hancock Schools alongside educators and school leaders from across Indiana.

Representing Boyce were Brice Wright, Chief Product Officer; Kenna Jones, Account Executive; and Heather Sevier, Account Manager. They enjoyed reconnecting with customers, meeting new school leaders, and taking part in conversations about leadership, school culture, and supporting Indiana educators.

Joy Jam is a reminder that great schools start with great people. Throughout the conference, we heard inspiring stories, practical leadership advice, and plenty of encouragement for the educators who show up every day to serve their students and communities.

A big thank you to George Philhower, Eastern Hancock Schools, and everyone who made Joy Jam possible. We're grateful to support events that invest in the people who make Indiana schools stronger every day.

Practical Stewardship, Agility, and Serving Students in a Small District 07/14/2026

Every school district looks a little different, but the mission is the same: be a good steward of resources while creating the best possible experience for students and staff.

We recently sat down with Adam Kinder, Assistant Superintendent at Eastern Hancock Schools, to talk about leadership, efficiency, innovation, and why sometimes "being a rowboat surrounded by cruise ships" is actually an advantage.

The Backbone of the District: What Indiana's School Business Leaders Taught Us at Amplify LIVE 07/10/2026

What makes a strong school business office?

At Amplify LIVE 2026, we asked four of Indiana's most experienced school finance leaders that very question. Their conversation covered the financial pressures districts are facing, what the best business offices have in common, and why communication, consistency, and strong processes matter more than ever.

One message stood out: the business office is the quiet engine that keeps a district running.

If you support school finance, HR, payroll, or district operations, we think you'll find this conversation worth your time.

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States' independence, we're reminded how fortunate we are to live in a nation built on freedom, opportunity, and service to others.

This Independence Day, we're especially grateful for the Indiana school leaders, business professionals, and educators we have the privilege of serving. Every day, they work behind the scenes to support students, families, and communities across our state, and we're proud to play a small part in that mission.

Thank you to our customers for your partnership, your dedication, and your service. From all of us at Boyce, we wish you and your families a safe, relaxing, and Happy Fourth of July as we celebrate 250 years of the United States.
