Have you ever looked at someone else's role and thought, "I could do that"? In this message from our 1 Corinthians series, Pastor Nik Sloan takes us through 1 Corinthians 12:27-31 to show how envy and comparison give way to a better identity in Christ. We are His body, His building, and a people called to burn with desire to serve one another. Imperfections don't revoke who we are in Christ, and every believer has a God-appointed part to play. Not everyone is used by God in the same way, but everyone is used by God in some way toward the same purpose. And as Paul points out, there is a still more excellent way.

TRUST GOD WITH THE OUTCOME 🙏

When we pray for healing, our faith is not measured by the outcome. We are called to pray, trust God, and remember that the Spirit works according to His will. Our responsibility is faithfulness. The outcome belongs to Him. 🙌

WISDOM WAS MEANT TO BE SHARED 💬

God-given wisdom is not meant to stop with us. When the Spirit gives us something that can encourage, guide, or strengthen someone else, the goal is to share it for their good and point the glory back to Christ. 🙌

GIFTED BY GRACE, BUILT FOR OTHERS ✨

Spiritual gifts were never meant to make much of us. They are gifts of grace meant to build up others and bring glory to Christ. 🙌 Whatever God gives us, the posture stays the same: the benefit goes outward, and the glory goes upward.

Partners, Not Competitors 🤝

God never designed men and women to compete for worth, recognition, or control. In Christ, the better question isn’t “Who’s in charge?” but “How can we glorify Christ together?” ✝️
