Daisy Mae Pet Rescue

Does everyone remember sweet little sugar, of the pair sugar and spice- the two chihuahua min pin pups that came to us with a bad case of mange? Here is sugar today happy with her new home visiting petsmart! I was so happy to run into them I had to share a picture!

As you may have noticed, our FB page has been quiet for the last 5 months. Since 2009 Daisy Mae Pet Rescue has rescued and placed over 400 pets- mostly dogs! We will be taking be winter off. Since earlier this summer now that my little boy is in preschool full time, I am working outside the home nearly full time and haven't had the time to take in dogs and puppiesat our house like I had in the past. My current job is with an animal rescue (ARF in Muncie) so no worries- I haven't stopped rescuing- I just have a different avenue for adopting them out! As always if you are looking to adopt feel free to contact me. And thank you to everyone who has supported us this far! Murphy the boxer got to help me with a presentation to the Albany Lions club tonight. He was a hit :) We talked about Daisy Mae pet rescue, what we do, and of course- spaying and neutering!

Murphy our "forever foster" snuggling with Kourbon. We are happy to give Murphy a retirement home for his golden years!

Cruze was adopted from us in December and here he is now! His new name is Cooper and his parents sure love him!

Petey is the last of Melody's pups at our house. He is getting adopted Sunday but until then Quinn, Chris and I along with are dogs are enjoying having him spend time in our house learning housebreaking skills and getting plenty of attention and outside playtime!

Dock divin' Bishop is a Daisy Mae alumni! He continues to make his adoptive parents proud winning ribbons and proves rescue dogs are awesome!

Another one of Melody's puppies is headed home! Reed, now known as Jack, will be very much loved (and we predict spoiled!) by his new parents!

I can't say thank you enough. Wilson lovesssss having a playmate. He's Even happier. Which makes me happy :)
