From the iconic 'Reach Out I'll Be There' and 'Baby I Need Your Loving' to the Tops' sublime versions of 'I Left My Heart in San Francisco' and 'The Girl from Ipanema', the album was recorded at the height of the 60's and the height of Classic Motown, in summer 1966.

The Tops family are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Brian Potter. Brian, alongside his musical partner Dennis Lambert, wrote and produced several hits for the Four Tops, including ‘Ain’t No Woman Like The One I’ve Got’, ‘Are You Man Enough?’, ‘Keeper Of The Castle’ and produced the album of the same name. Brian also wrote songs for Dusty Springfield, Small Faces, Glen Campbell (Official), Righteous Brothers and Hall & Oates among many others throughout his illustrious career. The Tops family send our heartfelt condolences to Brian’s family and friends. We are so grateful for his contribution to the world of music and to the legacy of the Four Tops.

The Tops family are saddened to hear of the passing of Clive Davis. Legends collided in 1988, when Clive executive produced the Tops album Indestructible, bringing on board luminaries including Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, Kenny G and Classic Motown superfan Phil Collins. Phil co-wrote the single ‘Loco In Acapulco’, which was a huge worldwide hit, especially in the UK where it reached number 7 and was certified silver.

Today, we join in celebrating Juneteenth and the enduring contributions of Black artists, musicians and communities whose creativity, resilience and talent have helped shape American culture.

We are proud of the legacy of the Four Tops and the generations of music that continue to bring people together around the world.
