CommUNITY SJP
Uniting communities through service in the South Jersey-Philadelphia region by harnessing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
CommUNITY is a group of individuals, not bound by race, religion, gender, or age. We aim to cross the barriers of socioeconomic class and help our neighbors, as this is a basic tenet of any faith. We hope to improve our communities and create cohesiveness by building bridges. We aim to unify people who share the goal of betterment of the community, regardless of their heritage, lineage, or faith.

Thanks so much to CommUNITY SJP for dropping off some last minute toys for families in need. We closed out 2025 with a bang! A snow cancelation didn't slow us down - volunteers showed up with less than a week notice to assist in our final project of the year. During the event, over 40 volunteers completed:
- 425 hygiene kits and 100 stuffed socks for Fishers of Men Ministries Corp.
- 12 no sew fleece blankets, split between Fishers of Men Ministries and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
- 100 goodie bags to be distributed to children during the Muslim Heritage Month Festival in January, led by
- Toys and food pantry items were also donated by our volunteers to For The Love of Pete's Pantry in New Jersey and Gracious Center of Learning & Enrichment Activities
We entered the event with a goal of 250 hygiene kits and a few blankets, but our hard working volunteers practically doubled our goal. We are so thankful for our volunteers and would not be as successful as we are without them!
