It helps build language, strengthen coordination, support memory and focus, and gives children another way to express themselves.

We are so excited to celebrate Teacher Kim as our Employee of the Month! Kim has truly stepped up during one of our busiest seasons and continues to show up each day with a positive attitude, flexibility, and so much love for our kiddos.

Whether she’s jumping in wherever she’s needed, staying on top of her classroom routine, or making our toddlers feel loved and supported, Kim is such an important part of the Sweet Pea team. 🌱💗

August Curriculum Recap | Superheroes ⭐

Throughout August, our students explored what it truly means to be a superhero. While superheroes can be fun to imagine, we focused on the real-life heroes who make a difference in our lives and our community every day.

Our students learned about firefighters, police officers, teachers, and healthcare professionals—including a special visit from our very own Nurse Alicia. Through hands-on activities, conversations, and play, we explored important qualities such as kindness, bravery, teamwork, respect, and helping others.

As we wrap up our Superheroes theme, we’re excited to begin September’s curriculum theme: All About Me! This month, our students will explore their families, feelings, interests, friendships, and all the wonderful qualities that make each of them unique.

We’re looking forward to another month of learning, growing, and discovering together at Sweet Pea Learning Center. 💗

Big feelings at drop-off are completely normal! 💗 Saying goodbye can be hard, especially during new routines and transitions.

A short, calm, and confident goodbye can help your little one feel safe and secure as they start their day. Our teachers are always here with plenty of comfort, reassurance, and love to help make those transitions a little easier. 🌱

Consistency builds confidence, and each goodbye is another step toward independence and resilience. You’ve got this—and we’ve got them! 💕✨
