Double the Beauty at Frisky Goat Ranch

Sweet Fiona and Chester have welcomed two absolutely stunning Angora doelings to the ranch! These beautiful girls are already turning heads with their striking coloring, bright blue eyes, and soft mohair coats.

One little doeling is a rich red with white spots, while her sister sports a gorgeous brown reverse badger pattern. Both girls are healthy, thriving, and already full of personality. We are especially excited about the unique coloring and fleece potential these two carry forward from their parents.

These girls will be Colored Angora Goat Breeders Association registered and represent everything we love about raising colored Angora goats here in Morrison, Colorado — beautiful natural colors, sweet temperaments, and luxurious mohair.

A Little Surprise from Cora — Worth the Wait

Cora had me second guessing everything — I was fairly certain she was pregnant, but when her due date came and went, I started to question it.

As a nervous first-time mom, she wouldn’t let me examine her well, so we just had to wait it out.

She eventually welcomed this sweet little buckling, and he was well worth it.

He’s an apricot with white spots and bright blue eyes, just like both his parents, Cora and Chester. He’ll be CAGBA registered, and we’re already smitten.

Our kidding season has officially begun

Sweet Coco welcomed a beautiful tri-colored F1 Nigora doeling today (75% Angora / 25% Nigerian), and we couldn’t have asked for a smoother start. I always love an uneventful birth—those are the best kind. Mom and baby are both doing wonderfully, and we’re soaking in these first sweet moments.

Sending Iris and Dove together makes it even more meaningful. They’ll step into a life of purpose, helping grow a beautiful farm while staying side by side.

FGR Tansy “Lizzie” has found her home

Our sweet little girl is settling into life with Kenny and Lyn, with plenty of land to protect and an important role ahead of her. She will also be part of supporting wounded warrior work, giving her a life full of purpose and service.
