Twenty years ago, Absolute Termite & Pest Control began with one man, one truck, and the courage to believe in himself.

After graduating from college, Eric Batrez was recruited to work for a Fortune 500 company. After his first annual review, Eric realized the corporate world wasn’t for him—he wanted to work for himself.

Nine months later, Eric mortgaged an investment property and put every dime he had into starting a new business. He saw an opportunity to serve the River Region through a pest control company that put customers first and helped protect their homes and businesses.

He went all in—and never looked back.

What started with Eric and a truck has grown into a full-service pest control company serving Central Alabama. Behind that growth are years of hard work, relationships built on trust, and customers who gave a small, local business the chance to earn their loyalty.

Through it all, Absolute’s foundation has remained the same: put customers first, honor family, and serve the community.
