Another completed Mr. Pool build, and another Alabama backyard ready for years of memories.
LED lighting has quickly become one of the most popular add-ons for new pool builds โ and for good reason.
Everett breaks down why this feature is such a game changer, especially as we head into fall here in Alabama. From football gatherings to evening swims, backyard cookouts, and weekends with family and friends, the right lighting keeps your pool feeling beautiful, usable, and inviting long after the sun goes down.
When you are designing a pool, it is not just about how it looks during the day. It is about how it feels at night too.
LED color lighting adds atmosphere, personality, and that extra wow factor that makes your backyard feel completeโจ

This summer has been filled with new builds, custom designs, long days, hot weather, and countless details coming together across the state. From classic rectangles to custom layouts, tanning ledges, spas, waterfalls, lighting, automation, and everything in between, every pool represents a family who trusted our team with their home.
We are proud of the craftsmanship behind each build, but even more grateful for the people behind them โ our crews, our customers, and every family who has allowed us to keep doing what we love for nearly three decades.

A backyard built for every season.
This 18x36 rectangle pool in Waverly, Alabama brings together clean design, thoughtful features, and the kind of outdoor space a family can enjoy from morning swims to evening fireside conversations.
This build includes a retaining wall, paver border, LED color lighting, rock waterfall, safety fence, tanning ledge with bubbler, and a fire pit area that makes the whole backyard feel connected.
The pool may be the centerpiece, but it is the full design that makes this space so special.
A place to swim. A place to relax. A place to gather. A place to make home feel even better.
Labor Day may be right around the corner, but in Alabama, pool season does not end when summer break does.
The heat is still here, the weekends are still made for being outside, and there is plenty of time left to enjoy life by the water. After an incredible year of building pools for families across Alabama, we are more thankful than ever for the homeowners who continue to trust Mr. Pool with their backyards.
From the first design conversation to the first swim, every pool starts with a decision to make home feel a little more like vacation.
