Under the theme “Deeply Rooted,” our Pathfinders will camp, connect, worship, and grow—deepening their roots in Christ and building friendships along the way. 🙏🏽💚

Please keep our young people, leaders, and families in prayer for safe travels, meaningful experiences, and hearts ready to hear God’s voice.

FAITH CHECK 101: Taking the Next Step!

It’s possible to know the Word, quote the Word, and agree with the Word—yet still hesitate to live the Word.

James 1:22 challenges us: “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only…”

Faith isn’t only about what we believe. Faith moves. Faith obeys. Faith takes the next step—even when that step feels small, uncomfortable, or uncertain.

Maybe your next step is to forgive. Make the call. Serve someone. Let something go. Start again. Speak up. Apologize. Pray. Or simply do what God has already been prompting you to do.

You don’t have to see the entire path to take the next faithful step. Learn. Obey. Take Action. Grow in Faith.

FAITH CHECK: What is one step of obedience God is inviting you to take this week?
Don’t just hear it. Live it. 💛

FAITH CHECK 101: WHO’S IN CONTROL?

We pray for God’s guidance—but sometimes, if we’re not careful, what we really want is God’s approval of the direction we’ve already chosen.

There’s a difference between asking God to bless my plans and surrendering enough to follow His plan.

Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our heart, rather than leaning on our own understanding.

So today’s Faith Check is personal:

Am I truly trusting God’s direction, or am I simply asking Him to bless my plans?

That question may require more than a quick answer. Pause. Reflect. Pray.

What am I holding too tightly?
Where am I relying on my own understanding?
Am I willing to follow God—even if He redirects me?

Now the challenge: Identify one area of your life where you need to loosen your grip and place the outcome back into God’s hands.

If you’re comfortable, complete this sentence in the comments:

“God, I’m trusting You with ______.”

One word is enough.
