USAF First Sergeant Academy

A big shoutout to the FSA Cadre for leading the HIIT workout after the graduation run! Lead is what we do!

The countdown is on! In just TWO days, Class 26-G will graduate from the First Sergeant Academy and take the next step in their journey as First Sergeants.

Over the past four weeks, these candidates have been challenged to grow as leaders, strengthen their relationships, and embrace the responsibility that comes with wearing the diamond. From classroom lessons and real-world scenarios to Project X, fitness challenges, and community service, every experience has helped prepare them for the road ahead.

As graduation approaches, we encourage Class 26-G to reflect on the friendships formed, lessons learned, and memories throughout this journey.

To the families, friends, and teammates who have supported these future First Sergeants, thank you for being part of their journey!

Members of Class 26-G’s Allegiance Flight had an incredible time visiting the residents at Capitol Hill Healthcare for an afternoon of fellowship, smiles, and BINGO!

Thank you for welcoming our future First Sergeants and giving them another opportunity to demonstrate what the diamond is all about—taking care of people.

The First Sergeant community is built on a commitment that extends far beyond an assignment, a duty title, or retirement.

We are proud to recognize the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland First Sergeant Council for coming together to support CMSgt Dale Armwood, a trailblazing Air Force veteran who needed a helping hand.

Their actions are a powerful reminder that “I will never leave an Airman behind” includes those serving today and those who paved the way before us.

Thank you to the JBSA Diamonds for demonstrating what servant leadership, compassion, and taking care of Airmen truly look like.

Once an Airman, always an Airman!

Three weeks down, and Class 26-G is officially heading into the final stretch of their First Sergeant Academy journey!

Week three continued to challenge candidates to communicate, work together, think critically, and apply the leadership skills they have developed throughout the course.

Outside the classroom, the competition was on during the Scavenger Hunt PT Challenge! Candidates put their teamwork, communication, and determination to the test, with Freedom Flight leading the charge and claiming the victory!

Class 26-G also took time to give back by volunteering with Quiet Storm Outreach Group. Their service provided another opportunity to put the First Sergeant mindset into action by showing up, lending a hand, and making a positive impact beyond the halls of the Academy.

With graduation just around the corner, Class 26-G has one final week to bring everything together and finish the same way they started.

The finish line is in sight!

Class 26-G officially became the first Air Force First Sergeant Academy class to participate in Project X!

Designed to challenge candidates through teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership, Project X provided an opportunity to step outside the traditional class environment and put those skills into action.

What began with Class 26-G will now become part of the First Sergeant Academy experience for future classes, adding another hands-on opportunity to develop the leaders our Airmen and Guardians deserve.

Class 26-G did not just participate in Project X, but helped set the foundation for those who will follow.
