The Directed Path

It was on Good Friday.
A day that once looked like defeat…
A day when darkness seemed to win…
A day when the followers of Jesus, the Roman Empire, and even the enemy himself believed it was over.

Jesus was crucified.
The tomb was sealed.
Hope felt buried.

But as Tony Campolo famously said,
“It’s Friday… but Sunday’s coming.”

What looked like the end… was only the beginning. Because today we don’t just remember the cross…
We live in the power of the resurrection.

The grave is empty.
Death is defeated.
Jesus is alive.

And because He lives… we have hope, purpose, and victory.. This is why we celebrate.

In observance of this Holy Day that we are all reminded of the Resurrection Power of Jesus, all county offices will be closed until Monday.

“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” — 1 Corinthians 3:16

God never limited His presence to a building or a place. Through Jesus, He chose something far more personal the human heart.

That means wherever you go, God goes. Your life becomes His temple. Your words, your actions, your compassion, and your faith become the place where others encounter Him.

Today is a reminder that faith isn’t confined to Sunday morning or a church building. It lives in us, in how we love, how we serve, and how we treat others.

Carry His presence well today. 🙏

I voted but at the end of the day I. Jesus is the king of Kings and lord of Lord. Let us focus on renewing our minds and who is in our house, God put who’s in the White House.
