On March 1, 2024, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Alabama Higher Education Conference, hosted by The University of Alabama in Huntsville and sponsored by ACHE, brought together 225 attendees from Alabama’s higher education institutions as well as industry and business partners to discuss the AI landscape evolving across our state. The keynote speaker was Dr. Ravi Pendse, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at the University of Michigan. Group sessions focused on AI in teaching and learning, AI-driven research and innovation, and other future changes in AI across key industries in Alabama.

Jessie Lynn Nichols, an ACHE Fellow, and her team members of Dirt to Diva Productions, LLC gave an outstanding presentation today at the Region 5 WBL Practitioner Training held at Trenholm State Community College!

It was a simple, common bookstore I. 1990 before it became what it is today, as writes began to visit the store, read their works, and sign their books. In 2012, Alabama Bookstore pushed that specialty and made every book in the store signed!
