Congratulations to our own Makayla Rose McDonald, daughter of Mona Rose McDonald, for winning a scholarship from the Montgomery-Antioch District Baptist Women’s Auxiliary! Makayla will be entering Alabama A&M University this fall. Join us in wishing her well!

God was in the house as we celebrated the First Anniversary of Rev. Freeman H. Ray, III and First Lady Adrienne R. Ray! Thank you to our Guest Speaker and President of the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Convention Rev. Melvin Owens, Rev. Willie Welch, who presided over the program and Sis. Jacquelyn Jones, who chaired the Anniversary Committee.

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-12.

The morning rain only served to cool the air for the Back to School Bash! Thanks to all the members, friends and family that joined for food, fellowship and fun as we get our babies ready for the new school year!
