FSC 528th Engineer Battalion

FSC celebrated the passing of the guidon this weekend. We have had the privilege of being led by Cpt Mushenski for over 2 years. This weekend, the guidon was passed to Lt Danide. We welcome him and look forward to his leadership and have no doubt the he will continue us down the path of excellence FSC is known for.

This past weekend FSC was honored to have Cpt. Mushenski promote now First Lieutenant McMurry. Lt McMurry is the acting XO for FSC with a bright future ahead of him. Help us congratulate him.

Although we continued with refueling operations at the Grant project and helped the 922nd with services, the main focus for today was to zero and qualify at the rifle range. It was a hot one today, but we worked together to make it a successful day at the range. Good job team.

Today our maintenance team learned a thing or two from a full time technician at MATES 93. Spc Smith joined us for our leadership meeting. He took notes and joined in on the conversations. His goal is to be an officer and is well on his way. Although on his way out of FSC, Cpt Mushenki is still willing to give us advice and lead us in the right direction.

A good morning of PT. Basketball, weight lifting, rowing, biking, and treadmill. Col. Slaven was also working out and joined in to shoot hoops with the troops.

FSC has had the pleasure of helping the 922nd with fueling operations in Grant Parish. Because of the uptempo in operations, we now have the pleasure of assisting with the delivery of dirt being moved with a variety of dump trucks. The dirt is being used to add to a berm for a rifle range. One Team One Fight. We work together as a Battalion in order to get the job done.

Do you need your oil checked on your LMTV? Do you have a bad tire on your LHS? The FSC maintenance team can hook you up. Thanks to a good PMCS, a bad cut was noticed in a LHS tire. The guys were able to drop the spare and put it on.

FSC conducted PRT in preparation for a great company run. Soldiers motivation was strong and morale was high to get the feet moving.
