New Hope for Veterans' Mental Health 🧠🇺🇸

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has officially announced a groundbreaking new clinical trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of MDMA-assisted therapy.

This randomized, placebo-controlled study will focus on treating severe mental health disorders—specifically posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD)—in a safe, highly controlled clinical setting.

With 19 active clinical trials now exploring psychedelic therapies, the VA is utilizing an "all-of-the-above" strategy to bring innovative, evidence-based treatments to those who served.
