Meet Kona, a remarkable Portuguese Water Dog who was trained here to be a diabetic alert dog for a very special little girl named Kennedy. Kona alerts to dangerous changes in Kennedy’s blood sugar levels—helping to keep her safe every single day.
Training Kona to detect these life-saving changes and build such a powerful bond with Kennedy and her family has been an incredible journey. As a trainer, these are the moments that stay with you forever.

We’ve had a busy couple of months here! We had so many great pups come through and even had two sibling pairs! We had Potato’s sister, Zemy (Doodle) and Matilda’s sister, Roxie (bully mix) come right after their siblings came for training! Everyone did amazing! We also had puppy camper, Max, come back to wrap up the last part of his puppy on leash program! We will see him again soon for his off leash adventure training!
We had a few boarding pups too! Piper, Molly, Maya, Doug, Diabetic Alert Dog Sugar and Diabetic Alert Dog Kona. Kona did some brushing up on public access and also worked on his tucking skills!
We have a few spots open for April and May and will have limited spots in June!
