According to the Louisiana Violence Experiences Survey (LaVEX) published by Tulane University’s Newcomb Institute, over 1 million Louisiana women and almost 800,000 men have experienced Intimate Partner Violence(IPV). Approximately 440,000 Louisiana women and 100,000 Louisiana men have experienced potentially lethal forms of IPV- choking, beating, burning, or use of a weapon. #

Meet Michelle Hamilton!
As The Wellspring’s Vice President of Administration & Finance, Michelle provides the strong financial leadership that helps our mission move forward. She leads our finance team and oversees financial management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to ensure every resource entrusted to us is managed with care.

Michelle earned a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University. She is a Louisiana-licensed Certified Public Accountant and has served as president of the Northeast Chapter of the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants (LCPA).

We’re grateful for the expertise and dedication she brings to The Wellspring.
