A Slow Session for beginners interested in learning Celtic music with an emphasis on backing up Celtic tunes. All are welcome. Listeners and participants.
Greenmore, featuring the one and only Rob Dahms, the percussion maestro Johnnie K (John Kinser), the incomparable Heather Nobiling and a real 'shroom Joe Nobiling will be performing at the Highland Games in Davenport on Friday Sept. 15 from 3-430 and Saturday Sept. 16 from 11-1230. Celtic fiddle tunes and songs performed on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, drums, Bodhran, tenor banjo, concertina and bones. Toe-tappin', feel good, put-a-smile on your face music.
For all of you Celtic Sessions players, fans and friends who have come to the Moline Pulbic Library Celtic Sessions, I believe you will find Shona McMillan's Celtic Reflections FB site a site well worth visiting and liking. Shona McMillan's a fine photographer, chronicler of the Scottish fisher people, and musician with Celtic music roots extending throughout the Celtic world. Enjoy!
