Hey everyone! Holiday session update!

TREE FARM SESSIONS ARE COMPLETELY BOOKED!
🚨 ATTENTION 🚨

I have only a handful of 30 minute sessions &
One hour sessions remaining. I have a total of 8 sets to use this year.

The one hour sessions are the only sessions that include the giant cocoa cup!

In order to use the cocoa cup your littles a must be able to sit up on their own! (This is a CLEAN session 😬)

Days like today are exactly why I love calling Little Falls home. 🧀🤍

There’s something really special about seeing Main Street completely filled with people, local businesses, makers, music, food, and so much community pride …. especially when you realize just how much history is behind it all.

Little Falls was once known as the Cheese Capital of the World, and from 1864–1870 it was actually the largest cheese market in the world. Our little city along the Erie Canal played a huge part in New York’s dairy history, with farmers and cheese buyers coming here from all over.

And I love that the Little Falls Cheese Festival continues that history today. The festival began in 2015 and has grown into such an incredible celebration of our community….bringing thousands of people into Little Falls each year. In 2025 alone, an estimated 16,000 people came to enjoy it. 🧀✨

I love photography because it gives me an excuse to notice the little things….the buildings, the people, the history, and just how beautiful this community really is. I had such a great time today, and I’m just really, really glad I get to live here.

Little Falls, you’re pretty special. ❤️

If you’re new here… hi! I’m Cara. 🖤📸

I graduated from Photographic Technology in 2009, and photography has pretty much been a huge part of my life ever since. I’ve had my studio since 2014, and over the years I’ve photographed just about everything ….families, seniors, couples, bo***ir, weddings, elopements, creative sessions, holiday magic and all of those little in-between moments that somehow end up meaning the most.

I’m also incredibly lucky to be the photographer for the All Things Oz Museum, which has given me the opportunity to photograph some pretty amazing people over the years ….including Marissa Bode, who plays Nessarose, Elphaba’s sister, in Wicked. 💚

I love creating sessions that feel like an experience instead of just showing up, standing in front of a camera and smiling. Give me movement, personality, weird ideas, sentimental moments and people who are willing to have fun with me. 😂

Holiday sessions are probably one of my favorite things to bring to life. I love dreaming up completely different sets, finding all the little details and watching an idea that was once just floating around in my head turn into something real.

And after doing this for all these years, I’m still constantly dreaming up something new. ✨

My newest adventure is bringing fairytale elopements to life at the Inn by the Mill …intimate ceremonies, gorgeous grounds, a waterfall and the kind of setting that honestly looks like it came straight out of a storybook. I’m so excited to see where this new little adventure goes. 🥹🤍

I also LOVE bartering. 😂 Hair, nails, massages, flowers, experiences, services …if you have something cool to trade, there’s a very good chance I’m going to want to hear about it.

Outside of photography, I’m a mom to a 16-year-old daughter who has basically grown up with a camera somewhere nearby, and if you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably seen plenty of our life sprinkled in here too.

At the end of the day, I don’t want this page to just feel like a photography business. I want it to feel like a little community where you get to see the pretty pictures, the behind-the-scenes chaos, the random ideas, the things that make me laugh and all of the adventures along the way
