After getting attacked this week by 209 Times, Anthony K is dedicating a full, uninterrupted hour to one topic and one topic only: Motec Sanchez. You’ve read the articles, now come hear the punchlines. And for those wondering: Motec will NOT be in attendance, as he has been banned from Che'Root. This is a disruption-free roast! So I was just blessed with the 209 times recent post about Che’root. I appreciate everyone’s support in the comments. My bartender and I were highly misquoted in the article. Anthony was never asked to leave and I was misquoted in context. I laughed for almost 10 seconds after what I was quoted was said. My business also was threatened with violence. He said in our meeting that the situation would be ,”dealt with”. When I told him that was, ”disgusting”, he never printed that… and then backpeddled and sulked in the corner when he didn’t get his way (like a baby, another comment to his post). However, the comment about him that there is always a problem whenever he (the author of the article) goes anywhere makes a ton of sense after hearing other patrons stories and from my staff that night, other than said author’s friends’. I was not present for the conflict. My apologies for the drama from 209 Times. We are not that kind of place. I have been blocked from their page before I have ever even followed or wanted to follow them so unfortunately, this is the only platform I have to politely ask him to not return to Che’root.
