Guess who's celebrating their 42nd anniversary? KITTY HAVEN SANCTUARY AND RESCUE, that's who!
That's right...September 4th marks *42* years of caring for the Central Valley's unwanted, abandoned, and abused kitties! THOUSANDS of cats and kittens have passed through our doors, most of them have been adopted, but some of them still remain. And I'll be transparent with you folks; Candy is struggling. Finances are tight, and the years of wear and tear on Candy and her daughter, Susie, have really taken their toll. Yet, their love of these cats is the driving force to struggle through their physical pain to give them the care that they need and deserve day after day. As a woman who also suffers from arthritis and back pain (and a former volunteer) I know how hard the work is. I admire their dedication and courage, but my donation alone won't carry them. Please help me honor the pioneer in cat rescue here in Modesto!. No donation is too small!
