Modesto Sunset Lions donated 60 nice warm, plush blankets to the nursing care unit of Casa de Modesto Retirement Center during the holidays.

Tonight we presented a donation to Richard Stone on behalf of the Central Valley Regional Science Bowl. The Modesto Sunset Lions club has supported the Science Bowl for at least the past 4 years.

Earlier this month a few of our volunteered our time for a deserving family in Ceres to help clean up their yard and clean out their garage. This is a family of a recently young disabled Dad, wife and small son. The wife is trying to keep up with everything. She was very grateful.
