Wednesday nights are the best nights!

So much good stuff last night. We got to spend time hearing from and praying over our churches Global Partners hard at work all over the world, and jumped into our new series on idols by taking the first step in understanding what they are, why they are a problem and why we are still so drawn to them even today. Can’t wait to look even deeper next week!

New series starts tomorrow! We are going to take a look at humanities very long struggle with idols. Even though that may seem unusual or something of the past, we will discover they are alive and well, and we need to know how to deal with them. Come hang out tomorrow night at 6:45pm as we start off by figuring out what exactly these things are. See you then!

Last night we talked about the job that Jesus has given every person who follows him: to go and make disciples…

As school gets rolling we challenged you guys to start with just one person who doesn’t know Jesus and to commit to pray for them, care for them, and ultimately share who Jesus is with them. This is what we were made to do and we are excited to see how you step into it this year!

There are a group of students who meet on Sunday nights at the Belden’s house to really get after what it looks like to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. And we are back to it this Sunday, August 23, 7-9pm. If you want to take your relationship with Jesus seriously alongside some others headed in the same direction, we would love to have you there!

We love how involved you all are getting in Crosspoint Students. We are looking forward to this gathering where we will get to spend time together, encourage each other, as learn how to serve the way that Jesus showed us!

New semester here we go! So excited to see what life looks like as we follow Jesus as close as we can get!

As we all start a new semester we are going to take a few weeks to look at who we are, and what we are about. We all have a mission. It’s been said in different ways, but it all comes down to our life being defined by following Jesus, loving people and making disciples! See you this week as we step into this new school year with purpose!
