there’s something different about watching your wedding film years later.

you notice the people in the background. the hugs you forgot about. the way your parents looked at you. your grandparents dancing. all the little moments that didn’t feel important enough to remember at the time.

because one of the greatest gifts of a wedding is having so many of the people you love together in one room. and as the years pass, you realize just how special that really was.

that’s why i’ll always believe the way we document these days becomes more valuable with time. you’re not only preserving what your wedding looked like. you’re preserving the people, the voices, the movement and a moment in your family’s story that you can never recreate.
