Saturday Vibes
The vibes were so good this Saturday⦠this is literally all the content I got š
But honestly? I had the best group of girls.
We laughed, we learned, we sewedāand it just felt easy in the best way.
This is just a tiny glimpse into what our classes feel likeā¦
good energy, real learning, and creating something with your own hands āØ
Upcycling, but make it Taste šø
I teamed up with for an upcycling workshop and being around all of you creating lit something back up in me⦠I caught the upcycling bug again and had to make something myself āļø
I took a vintage Leviās denim button-up and gave it a second life by attaching a floral bedsheet as a skirtābecause why not turn forgotten pieces into something youād actually want to wear?
Styled it 3 ways because you already know I need versatility:
ā grunge moment with a harness + combat boots
ā festival vibe with a heart buckle belt + cowboy boots
ā and on its own for that effortless vacation feel
This is your reminder that fashion doesnāt have to be new to feel new š¤
Also!! Today is my last day at helping you all with your upcycling projectsācome by if youāre thinking about it and letās create something together š«¶š½
Tell me which look youād wear šš½
Sewing 201: Behind the Seams
This past Saturday was my very first time teaching a sewing classāand honestly, it meant everything.
Even though we created something as simple as a tote bag, the intention behind it was so much bigger. I designed this project to be the perfect balanceānot too easy, not too overwhelmingāso my students could truly understand the foundations of garment making.
We focused on the details that matter: sewing straight, understanding seams, building structure, and thinking through the process from start to finish. Because once you understand why youāre doing something, you can take that skill into anything you make next.
Watching everyone bring their bags to life was the best part. Thereās something so powerful about learning a skill with your own hands.
More classes coming soon⦠š
Would you take a Sewing 201 class?
Next class is April 25th!
Sewing 201 Project!
In this class, weāre making a garment bag that looks cute, is actually useful, and secretly teaches you the foundations of garment construction š
The goal?
Create something beginner-friendly while building skills youāll use when youāre ready to make real garments.
Weāre talking:
⢠clean seams
⢠structure + shape
⢠construction techniques that translate beyond this project
And of course⦠sheās reversible š
One side classic, the other a fun gingham moment because we donāt do boring over here.
This is what I love most about sewingālearning through doing, and walking away with something youāll actually use.
Zara or Temu
This skit absolutely gagged me! Iāve never felt more seen or related to a skit like this one šš
I was told that this clip of my last video should live on the grid so here we are! Enjoy!

Fruit Fabric Photo Dump
ššššššššš
From Japan ā to the final look šāØ
This fabric was too special to mess up⦠you know that feeling when fabric feels sacred? Yeah, that. But I had to trust the processāand Iām so glad I did.
Also can we take a moment for these nails?? My niece really understood the assignment ššš„
3D papaya, lemon, dragon fruit, kiwi⦠like??? tiny wearable art.
For the dress, I kept it true to how I designāversatility first.
Sheās a two-in-one moment: wear it as a mini or switch it up with snaps for a longer length. Same piece, different energy.
Because we donāt believe in one-look outfits over here.
Which way would you wear itāmini or longer?? šāØ

If youāve ever felt buyerās remorseā¦
I get makerās remorse.
Because fabric is sacred to me.
Especially when I traveled all the way to Japan to find it. Every cut feels permanent. Every decision feels like pressure to get it right.
But hereās the thingāfabric isnāt meant to sit on a shelf. Itās meant to become something.
So I pushed past the hesitation and started creating.
This piece turned into a two-piece set (because you already know⦠Iām a practical designer š). I want my clothes to workāto be worn multiple ways, styled differently, lived in.
This video is for the makers who get it.
The ones who overthink the first cut.
The ones who see possibility in every yard of fabric.
The ones who love watching something come to life.
Stay tuned to see how this set turns out āØ
And tell meādo you ever get makerās remorse too?
Here are my unpopular opinions
Itās not what you think!
Stay until the end, thereās a bonus opinion. You might be a good laugh or judge me, we will see!
