Begin your time at Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria with an audio tour that guides you through the rooms where royalty lived. The focus is on two of the most famous residents of the palace, Empress Maria Theresa from the 1700s and Empress Elisabeth “Sisi” from the 1800s – that’s why you’ll hear some people refering to this palace as Sisi museum (Vienna). The visit inside Schönbrunn Palace is magnificent and I am sure you’ll love the Schönbrunn Palace interior!

Schloss Leopoldskron, pictured in the movie sound of Music, is located 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) south of the city.
Unfortunately, they don’t organize any sightseeing tours inside the Palace anymore. It has been converted to a hotel and is only accessible to hotel guests. So, if you really want to see its interior, book a room and enjoy the royal night in one of Salzburg’s most famous landmarks.
The Palace was designed by architect Pater Bernhard and is famous for its stucco work. Famous personalities such as Bavaria’s King Luis I or Max Reinhard (co-founder of Salzburg Festival) used to own it.
If you don’t want to book a room, check out the exterior with its beautiful lakeside and admire the Palace from the outside. It is a lovely walk.

No restaurant in Melbourne has seen quite the success as this establishment. Since opening its doors in 2011, it remains as the most successful restaurant in Melbourne and it continues from strength to strength.
Its once Mohawk laden head chef Ben Cooper has managed to tie in strong Thai influences with good local produce to create one of the best menus in town. Be ready to queue even on a Tuesday night.
On the weekends, you’ll see a queue snake all the way down the laneway… and this queue is just to get your name on the waitlist. You still have to wait at the bar after the initial queue. And yes, it’s worth it!

Thailand is one of the safest countries in the entire South East Asia trail and Chiang Mai speaks highly of the same. The city is also the home (at least temporary) to several expats, most of whom are teachers at schools and colleges, teaching English. Others are digital nomads of some kind or the other. Off lately, more people from outside the country are settling in the city than in the Bangkok, the capital of Thailand and the commercial hub as well.

Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world, and definitely the largest in Nepal and one of the best things to see in Kathmandu.
During the earthquake in 2015, the stupa was destroyed almost entirely. However, the ancient structure was restored within a year thanks to the donation of the Buddhism organization.
The best time to visit Boudhanath Stupa would be in the early morning when the monks are doing their morning prayers. During your visit, remember to follow the crowd and walk in clockwise direction.

One thing is NOT 24 hours… the train system. In fact, trains stop surprisingly early for a city that never sleeps like Tokyo. Most last trains depart around 12-12: 30 am, depending on the train line.
If you’re out in the city and you miss the last train, you have to wait until 4:30-5: 00 am for the first train to start running again. Alternatively, you can take an expensive taxi home, or wait at a bar, restaurant, or manga cafe until the morning!

Take a Tour at Ishikawa Shuzo Sake Brewery
There are nine sake breweries in Tokyo, but only two offer tours in English. Ishikawa Shuzo in Fussa is one of them, and although it’s a bit of a trek to this seldom visited part of western Tokyo, it’s well worth the effort.
This sake brewery was established in 1863 and uses locally sourced mineral water to make their craft sake, Tamajiman. In the late 1800s, Ishikawa Shuzo also began a short-lived experiment in beer making, but it wasn’t until 1998 that this part of the brewery was brought back to life.

There are plenty of hotels to choose from to stay in Hyderabad.
Some upscale options include ‘The Park’ , ‘ITC Kakatiya’ and ‘Radisson Blu Plaza’. Moderate to budget hotels include ‘Katriya Hotel’, ‘Holiday Inn’ and ‘Taj Mahal Hotel’.
Hostels here expect you to stay for at least a few months and tend to be the most budget option available if you stay long in the city.

You should also know that there are some incredible beaches in Kerala, just waiting to be discovered. You can admire the lagoons at Alappuzha beach, or enjoy the sandy beaches at Kovalam beach and the Fort Kochi beach, some of the most popular Kerala beaches.
Other lovely beaches in Kerala are Kappad, Varkala, Bekal, Kannur, and Kovalam. Some of them are still untouched by humans. You can indulge in water sports, or just take long beach strolls, admiring the view and enjoying the sun.
Kerala also has rice fields, waterfalls, and tea plantations, all waiting to be discovered, all welcoming people, all giving you the chance to see a different India: one that is not so crowded and in a hurry all the time.
