It may not show but we had to go around and reposition and nail every panel and piece of trim before painting. The best option was to sand, fill, prime, caulk then paint it all. A lot less draft now.

Of all the historical homes I’ve worked on in Mobile I’ve never dealt with one that still had active eave gutters. With Mobile’s rainfall I recon folks decided to roof over them. This is the second time in Natchez this year I’ve dealt with them. Gutter crew removes the metal so we can rebuild the wood trough eave then they come in and re-line with metal. We slowly work our way around the entire house.
Two years ago last month I broke my left leg when a support gave way from an extension ladder. Said I wouldn’t do it again. I apparently got over it.
