For years, he searched for identity and fulfillment by changing his outward appearance.

But according to his testimony, the transformation he needed most wasn't physical. It was spiritual.

His story is a reminder of a powerful biblical truth:

Your worth isn't determined by your appearance, the approval of others, or who the world tells you to be.

You were created with purpose, and you are loved by God.

Guedes recently shared photos of his custom cleats featuring an image of Jesus Christ, along with a powerful Scripture from Psalm 148:13, reminding everyone that God's name alone deserves to be exalted.

But it was his closing words that really stood out:

“I LOVE YOU, GOD. JESUS CHRIST FOREVER.”

And this isn't the first time Guedes has publicly expressed his love for Jesus. He's consistently used his platform to share Scripture and point people toward God.

In a world where athletes are celebrated for their talent, it's refreshing to see someone publicly acknowledge the One he believes deserves the glory.

The platform may be football, but the message is JESUS! 🙌✝️

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE AND ONLY SAVIOR. THAT'S NOT A POLITICAL SLOGAN. IT'S THE MESSAGE OF THE GOSPEL. ✝️🔥

For 2,000 years, Christians have proclaimed that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has publicly expressed that same conviction, speaking openly about his Christian faith.

And while faith and politics will always generate debate, the message of Jesus is bigger than any political party, election, or government.

Christianity has helped shape centuries of history, inspiring churches, hospitals, charitable institutions, and movements dedicated to serving others.

But the heart of Christianity has never been political influence.

It's the belief that Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose again, and offers salvation to everyone who believes in Him.

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12

Jesus is not a campaign message. He is the message of the Church. ✝️

WAIT… THERE'S A HURRICANE NAMED ISAIAH, AND THE MEANING OF THAT NAME IS INCREDIBLE. 👀🙏

The name Isaiah comes from the Hebrew Yeshayahu, meaning “Yahweh is salvation” or “The Lord is salvation.”

And whether you're facing a literal hurricane or a storm in your personal life, that's a powerful reminder.

Our hope isn't found in the absence of storms. It's found in the presence of God.

The storm may be real.

The diagnosis may be real.

The financial pressure, heartbreak, uncertainty, and battles nobody else knows about may all be very real.

But so is the God who promises to walk with us through them.

Faith doesn't mean the winds won't blow or the waters won't rise. It means we have a refuge when they do.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

Today, I'm praying for everyone preparing for severe weather, for the families in its path, and for those facing storms that have nothing to do with the forecast.

Take the necessary precautions. Protect your family. Help your neighbors. And keep trusting God.

The storm may be powerful, but our God is faithful.

🚨 FIREFIGHTERS SAY A BABY KEPT REPEATING THE NAME OF JESUS WHILE BEING RESCUED FROM A BURNING HOME! 🙏🔥

In the middle of a terrifying house fire, surrounded by flames and thick smoke, firefighters reportedly heard something they weren't expecting.

As they carried a young child to safety, the little one repeatedly said one name:

“Jesus. Jesus. Jesus.”

Even in the chaos of the rescue, the child reportedly continued calling on the name of Jesus.

What an incredible moment in the middle of such a frightening situation.

There is power in the name of Jesus! ✝️❤️

“Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13

THEY FACED THE THREAT OF EX*****ON FOR REFUSING TO DENY JESUS — BUT THEIR STORY DIDN’T END IN PRISON. 🙏✝️

In 2009, two Iranian Christian women, Marziyeh Amirizadeh and Maryam Rostampour, were arrested after boldly sharing the Gospel in a country where converting from Islam can carry severe consequences.

Both women had been raised in Muslim families before giving their lives to Jesus.

Despite the danger, they began secretly distributing New Testaments throughout Iran. Over the course of several years, they reportedly placed 20,000 copies of Scripture into the hands of people who might otherwise never have access to the Gospel.

They also helped establish underground house churches.

But eventually, authorities discovered what they were doing.

In March 2009, they were arrested and imprisoned in Tehran's notorious Evin Prison.

For 259 days, they endured interrogations, threats, and harsh conditions. They faced the possibility of ex*****on and were pressured to abandon their Christian faith.

But they refused to deny Jesus.

Even behind prison walls, the women say they continued sharing the Gospel with fellow prisoners.

Meanwhile, Christians and human rights organizations around the world began advocating for their freedom.

After months of imprisonment, both women were released and eventually escaped Iran. They later shared their remarkable testimony in the book Captive in Iran.

Their story is a reminder that religious persecution is not simply something we read about in the history books. Christians around the world still face imprisonment, intimidation, and violence because of their faith.

They could imprison these women, but they couldn't imprison the Gospel.

“The word of God is not chained.” — 2 Timothy 2:9

Pray for the persecuted Church. Pray for the believers in Iran. And pray that the Gospel continues reaching people even in the darkest places. 🙏🔥

We are saddened by reports of the passing of Jim Bakker, whose decades in Christian television and ministry touched the lives of many.

As believers, we find comfort in the promise of Scripture:

“To be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” — 2 Corinthians 5:8
Our hearts and prayers are with his wife, family, friends, and everyone mourning this loss.

May God's peace, comfort, and strength surround them during this difficult time.
