Many pro-life advocates argue that unborn children, including those with disabilities, deserve protection, love, and the opportunity to live. They believe society should work to support families facing difficult diagnoses rather than viewing certain lives as less valuable than others.

What happens when a homicide detective examines the claims of Christianity using the same methods he used to solve cold cases?

For former atheist and detective J. Warner Wallace, the results were unexpected.

Wallace spent years investigating unsolved murders, carefully evaluating evidence, witness testimony, motives, and alternative explanations. When he turned his attention to Christianity, he approached it with the same skepticism and investigative mindset.

His goal wasn't to prove the Bible true.

His goal was to see if the evidence could withstand scrutiny.

As he examined the historical claims surrounding the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, Wallace began asking the same kinds of questions he asked in criminal investigations:

Were the witnesses credible?

Were their accounts consistent?

What explanations best fit the evidence?

Why were Jesus' followers willing to endure persecution, imprisonment, and even death while continuing to proclaim that He had risen from the dead?

Wallace says his investigation eventually led him to conclude that the resurrection of Jesus deserved serious consideration as a historical event.

Another former skeptic, Josh McDowell, has shared a similar journey. What began as an attempt to challenge Christianity ultimately led him to become convinced of its truth claims.

Both men arrived at the same conclusion:

The resurrection isn't simply an emotional belief.

It's a historical claim that they believe should be carefully examined.

For Christians, the resurrection is the foundation of the faith.

As lawmakers continue debating whether transgender medical procedures for minors should be restricted nationwide, detransitioner Chloe Cole shared her story before a Senate committee, urging leaders to consider the long-term consequences these decisions can have on young people.

Cole testified that she began identifying as transgender and pursuing medical transition at age 12. At 15, she underwent a double mastectomy. She later came to regret those decisions and says she realized the changes she underwent did not bring the lasting peace and fulfillment she had been led to expect.

Speaking to lawmakers, Cole urged greater caution when it comes to medical interventions for children and teenagers, arguing that many young people are not fully equipped to understand the lifelong implications of such treatments.

Her testimony has become part of the broader national conversation surrounding puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgical procedures for minors.

Cole also expressed concern that some parents feel pressured toward medical transition because they are told that refusing it could place their child at greater risk of self-harm or su***de.

As the debate continues, supporters and critics remain deeply divided, making the discussion one of the most significant and emotionally charged issues currently facing lawmakers, parents, medical professionals, and families across the country.

One of the sobering realities of Scripture is that throughout history, people have sacrificed what was most precious to them in pursuit of false gods and sinful desires.

Psalm 106 recounts Israel's rebellion and says:

📖 "They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons; they shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters..." (Psalm 106:37-38)

This passage serves as a warning about how far humanity can drift when it turns away from God. What began as compromise eventually led to the destruction of innocent lives.

The lesson is timeless: whenever a culture rejects God's truth, the most vulnerable often pay the highest price.

God has always valued human life. Every person is created in His image and precious in His sight.

Psalm 106 is not just a record of Israel's past....it is a reminder for every generation to guard against exchanging God's ways for the values of the world.

A society is strongest when it honors God, protects innocent life, and remembers that every human being bears the image of their Creator.
