12:00-5:30 pm today at the Port City Pacer office. Or come on by and register for the race.
Race time tomorrow is 7:30
am.

We’ve been out marking the Do it in the Bush/‘Bogue trail this morning. The trail will be marked with purple paper plates this year. So be on the lookout for those. And if you don’t see them, I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to follow the orange dots marking roots. Gotta say Race Director Nell Rogers Gustavson wants to make sure you see them. She was super thorough.
Can’t wait to see everyone Saturday. Race starts at 7:30 am!!

Guess who is being honored on the DIITB shirt this year - aside from Bert the Beaver.

Drop off registration forms at McCoy Outdoor Company, Run N Tri Mobile, Fleet Feet Mobile, or the P*P office by noon on Thursday, May 21. Online registration closes at 7 AM on Friday, May 22.

Early packet pick-up and registration will be available on Friday, May 22, from NOON until 5:30 PM at the Port City Pacers office located at 358 Morgan Avenue.

Race day packet pick-up and registration will be available at the Playground Pavilion at Chickasabogue Park from 6:15 - 7:15 AM.

Parking is available on both sides of the Pavilion. As always, we recommend carpooling to save fuel, reduce carbon emissions, and promote in person socialization

The countdown is on! Do it in the Bush 5K is this SATURDAY, May 23, Chickasabogue Park at 7:30 a.m. You don't want to miss running at this new location. The trails are beautiful and the park is wonderful. We even have a fun run so you can make a day of it. Bring the family, stay for the after party, enjoy the brand new splash pad and play ground, and go ahead and bring a picnic lunch too.

And by the way, the shirt will be a one of a kind!!

The Port City Pacers recently presented the City of Bayou La Batre with a $1,000 donation from proceeds raised through the Bayou Half Marathon & 4-Miler held in Bayou La Batre.

As a nonprofit organization, P*P’s mission is to promote health and wellness through running while supporting the communities that host our events. We are grateful to the City of Bayou La Batre for its continued partnership and support of local runners and community events.
