Don't miss out on supporting the MTC Cancer Fund! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Health Sciences Division is selling pink gear to show support and make a difference for our MTC community. A portion of proceeds from the Sungold store will go directly toward the new MTC Cancer Fund, which will benefit Mitchell Tech students and employees impacted by cancer.

Starting in fall 2027, Mitchell Tech will offer a new Utilities Pipeline Technology program designed to prepare students for in-demand careers in natural gas distribution, transmission, and underground utilities.

This one-year diploma program will feature hands-on lab training in pipeline welding, plastic fusion, equipment operation, leak detection, pressure regulators, cathodic protection, and system maintenance.

With industry-standard equipment, experienced instructors, and strong employer partnerships, students will graduate ready to work for utility companies, pipeline contractors, municipal gas systems, and construction firms.

Mitchell Tech welcomed 1,392 students for the fall 2026 semester, setting a new enrollment record for the second consecutive year. That’s a 3.6% increase from last fall—and a reflection of the growing demand for hands-on education that leads to rewarding careers.
