Hey, friends! We’re wrapping up an incredible weekend at Hel’s Fury Tattoo Fest, and I’m already looking forward to the next one.
I’m looking for someone who loves corvids, mushrooms, and flowers to get this fun illustrative realism and watercolor mashup piece or something like it, with a discount available for someone willing to sit for a full 2-3 days of a convention weekend. I’m happy to do this at the shop in Minneapolis, too.

Every day, I bring the best I can to what I do, and dynamic takes on inanimate things that subvert the classical still life bring me so much happiness. A short session in on one of my current favorite projects.
This piece leans into narrative portraiture-storybook imagery, fantasy influence, and sea-witch / goddess energy. I’m especially drawn to work that feels mythic, where the portrait is part of a larger story rather than a standalone image.
The video at the end was shot on my phone, so some color correction and glare are present, but the core palette and mood are there. I’d love to do more work like this: portraits, surreal fantasy themes, and oceanic or myth-based figures.
If you’re drawn to narrative tattoos with a painterly, illustrative feel, this is very much my lane.
