The Paper Prophet

I guess this post, from yesterday, was removed for an over abundance of emoji use? The corporate overlords don’t like emoji any more? I GUESS. Now I’m sitting here, writing these words and adding more images. All in hopes that my enriched communiqué will help aid in the longevity and health of this, my art baby.

Will the previously used accent over the “é” throttle my engagement for “no reason”? Will this, my art baby, be banished to the dark recesses of the a.i. Slurm Mines to fester along side its emoji bejeweled brethren? Who stole the money from the house fund? Was it the Coconut Man?

To find out the answer to these questions and more you must first meet me behind the Butterscotch Waterfall. Now, if I may quote the emojis of my previous post. “Mustachioed Art Man, Microphone, Volcano, Metropolitan Sunrise, Birthday Cake, Unicorn, Woman’s Shoe.”

I love working on the Sno Ball every holiday season. This year I was responsible for creating a unified branding experience including the updated logo, several promos (digital banners, posters, and handbills), as well as additional supportive vector and faux wood-cut illustrations.

Last year I teamed up with the amazing comic artist, Becky Laff from .graphicnovle, to help turn her comic adaptation of this gothic classic into a reality. This year we conclude the exciting and tragic story of Erik and Christine with the second half of this timeless tale.
