How have we made an impact?

In early 2017, El Niño caused devastating floods in Peru washing away houses, roads, and bridges along the coast. Flood waters also contaminated many wells, cisterns, and water processing facilities.

With the help of your donations, the WSI team was able to install 50 water filtration systems in 12 villages along the Leche river, impacting the lives of 5,000 people.
