: U.S. and Israeli Forces Launch Major Combat Operations Against Iran

President Donald J. Trump announced early Saturday that the U.S. has begun “major combat operations” in Iran, calling the campaign a strategic effort to eliminate what his administration describes as imminent threats from the Iranian regime’s nuclear and missile programs.

The offensive, involving strikes on military targets, marks a significant escalation in tensions after months of stalled diplomacy. 

In his address, Trump acknowledged that U.S. service members could face danger, warning that American casualties are possible as the operation unfolds.

: Dr. Mehmet Oz has emerged as one of the latest names to appear in documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein. According to newly released records, Dr. Oz and his wife are listed as having sent a Paperless Post invitation to Epstein for a Valentine’s Day dinner in 2016.

The revelation surfaces years after Epstein pleaded guilty to criminal charges involving s*x offenses.

The development places another current member of the Trump administration among individuals whose names have appeared in the Epstein related files.

Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) is pushing back hard against President Donald J. Trump comments about taking over Greenland calling the idea “utter buffoonery.” Bacon warned that if the U.S. were to invade Greenland a NATO ally it could trigger bipartisan impeachment efforts in the House.

Bacon has also become the only Republican cosponsor of a House bill aimed at limiting a president’s ability to unilaterally invade a NATO ally highlighting growing concern inside Congress and deepening fractures within the GOP over Trump’s foreign policy rhetoric.

This rare break from party ranks raises serious questions about where Republican leadership is headed next.
