Little life update. Going on 6 months since I broke my back. After battling a lot of discomfort for many weeks, and at times honestly frustrating and a lot of hard work later I have taken back control of my injury.

I have been getting professional massages, going to the chiropractor, lifting weights on my back at the gym and hitting the stairs hard at the gym while getting my eating habits back on track. Back is feeling the best it has honestly since my injury over the last 30 days and through all that hard work my runs are getting easier and less uncomfortable on my back and I just smashed out 3 miles a mile above sea level!

What its like walking out of the house in Oklahoma today

32 hours in total and 5 sessions later, 3 of my biggest travel moments from the unbelievable night of Aurora last November, to climbing the Grand Teton, to documenting the erupting of the Iceland volcano, and a story of who I am and my burning passion for adventure and it is finally done. I can’t thank Jen enough for her ungodly amount of talent and for her taking on this mammoth of a sleeve. If any of my friends ever need a tattoo artist for realism please, PLEASE go see her at Title Tattoo in Denver and show her some love. My God I can’t believe this is mine forever.

That’s a wrap for this one! This trip was the first trip in a long time I’ve truly been able to enjoy myself and was a much needed vacation. The best part is I got to experience it with my best friends. With such an epic waterspout on our first day Max and I decided to get matching tattoos of our waterspout with mile 0 for Key West. A trip I won’t soon forget!

Saipan just keeps on giving 🥹 Tina who coordinated our flight to get the first images and supplies over to Rota after Super Typhoon Bavi raved about the hot sauces the island of Rota is known for and she was kind enough to ship Jordan and I not only the sauces but some souvenirs and merch from the flight company that got us over to the island! Thanks SO much Tina!

Couldn’t leave the keys without hanging out with the legend himself ! Got to spend hours watching a cloud line hearing all of his epic stories and capped the day off with a waterspout near Marathon. Day in Miami tomorrow before heading home. 5 waterspouts in total and lots of memories in between. What a trip.
