Standing side by side in the midst of a beautiful mess…Nell and I could have never imagined all that we would walk through when we met 31 years ago.

Here we are curating lovely things for a client event tomorrow. Holding the details in excellence all the while holding heartache for our dear friend and covey crew as her husband fights for his life battling cancer.

Our strength and tenacity to be present to both our work and the sacred pause to lament is only possible because of our ever present hope in Jesus.

We could have never imagined the collision of a day of cutting floral stems…to sitting with our beloved friend watching her hold the love her life’s hand not knowing what the next day holds.

We will always be committed and relentless to steward our work AND…we trust that when it’s time to set down the scissors and show up for the people we love…we go.

“One of my favorite things to do outside of the Covey office is get my hands in the soil! During COVID, I received one small succulent plant. What started as one simple little plant quickly turned into an incredible hobby and a true love! I love propagating my plant babies and watching my collection and variety continue to grow. There’s just something so rewarding about nurturing a tiny cutting and watching it flourish!”
