Some members of the Core team took part in the 10th Annual 'Pack at the Park' event at Target Field, joining thousands of volunteers to pack 1,000,000 meals for children around the world.

Thank you to Feed My Starving Children and Target Field for organizing such an incredible event and creating opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others!

In June, your calls fund cancer research.

For every minute you spend on the phone with us during the month of June, Core will donate 10 cents to the Benjamin McAllister Cancer Research Scholarships.

Last year, we donated over $5,000, and this year, we're aiming even higher. Every call helps!

Why do we do this?

Ben McAllister, a former Core Income employee, was diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer at just 23. Despite months of treatment, Ben passed away only 10 months after his diagnosis.

We raise money in his honor to help the University of Chicago discover treatments that enable people like Ben to live longer, healthier lives.

As Older Americans Month comes to a close, this year’s theme, “Champion Your Health,” encouraged older adults to take an active role in their well-being through preventative care, informed decision-making, and personal responsibility.

Our team had an incredible time at the Horizons Retirement Planning Conference hosted by the American College of Financial Services last week!

Events like this are exactly why we do what we do. Being in a room full of advisors, researchers, and thought leaders focused on sharpening their retirement planning expertise is always energizing, and we're grateful to be part of this community.

A highlight from the week: Dan Slater and Scott Winslow took the stage for their session, “Advisor Meets Actuary: Annuities & Insurance from Fact to Fiction.” If you were in the room, we hope it was a valuable one for your practice.
