We are a small machine shop in Plymouth, MN hiring a full-time, day shift (6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri) machinist to program, set-up and operate HAAS ST20, DS30SSY, SL-20, and a SL-30 Lathes. We offer a clean, air-conditioned facility. ISC Companies is a leading distributor of bearings and related mechanical components. Our Machine Shop modifies parts and builds made-to-order solutions in all varieties of metal and plastic for industrial and medical industries. No large quantities.
CNC Lathe Machinist responsibilities include:
• Read and understand layouts, job packet and blueprints for machined components.
• Write simple programs manually without the aid of CAD/CAM system.
• Use problem solving and trouble shooting skills to create and modify programs as needed.
• Operate multiple CNC machining centers simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Set up work to be performed in an efficient manner to produce quality, accurate work.
• Use tool position off-sets and MDI programming method as required.
• Use cutter off-set feature to adjust and replace as necessary.
• Responsible for setting up and running 5 or more different jobs per day.
• Must have flexibility to change jobs as emergency repairs arise.
• Operate lifting devices for moving heavy objects.
• Additional responsibilities and work overtime as needed.

CNC Lathe Machinist qualifications include:
• Three years Machining experience preferred.
• Ability to do MDI programming and machine to required tolerances without assistance.
• Ability to determine speeds and feeds and machinability of various materials.
• Experienced understanding of cutting and measurement tools in order to select correct tooling.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and move heavier objects with proper equipment.

Our Warehouse has an opening for a full-time or part-time day shift warehouse worker for our fast- paced environment. Full-time hours are 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday. Qualified candidate will receive, store, ship and distribute products within our warehouse. Advancement opportunities are available.

Responsibilities include:
• Receive product from all courier services, truck shipments and outside salespeople.
• Unload incoming trucks.
• Check in product by verifying accuracy of packing slip.
• Manage returned items process.
• Stock and organize shelves.
• Fill orders ensuring quality and quantity of product.
• Fill orders in which you may have to cut chain, track, or shafting and change out shaft positions on our gearboxes.
• Perform cycle counting as scheduled
• Prepare product for delivery by pulling, boxing and labeling product.
• Facilities maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:
• Related experience preferred.
• High degree of accuracy and efficiency is required.
• Must be able to stand and walk most of the day.
• Frequently required to stoop, crouch, kneel and reach overhead.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
