Riff-first. Hook-heavy. Pure rock that reminds you why you fell in love with loud music. Born in Minneapolis. Built to be played loud. The result? Welcome FuZZrd.
Brett Petrusek: Lead Vocals / Lead Guitars
Robert Berg: / Bass and Background Vocals
Eric Fairchild: Lead Guitars / Background Vocals
Scott Savage: Drums
Leave it to FuZZrd to find the bright side of Armageddon. The Minneapolis band has a knack for documenting searing personal experiences, strapping them to turbo-charged guitar riffs, and creating kick-ass rock ‘n’ roll. They make no attempt to hide the scars they acquired on the journey. They make no apologies if things get a little loud and chaotic in the process. But instead of dwelling on darkness and fury, FuZZrd refocuses that energy on hard-won lessons and glimmers of hope. Tales of obsession, devotion, and redemption – all sung from the crater of a live volcano. Their musical ethos mirrors the band’s evolution. After first getting together briefly in 2019, the four members began recording their forthcoming debut album during the crucible of 2020, determined to prove: never let a pandemic go to waste.
2021 marks an inflection point for FuZZrd and all the rest of us. A chance to rip off old bandages, turn the page, and confront what’s really important in life. You might as well find a soundtrack that perfectly captures the moment…and crank it up damn loud till it’s pounding.

A Happy New Year indeed! Join us as we begin a new chapter for Fuzzrd and welcome our drummer Steve Söderström. This is the ultimate in unexpected serendipity for us! The three of us started out together and ultimately wound up back together again. The chemistry and the comradery has not skipped a beat, it's just better with time. So F-ing cool! Stay tuned to hear Steve on our new album (in the works) and of course live shows in 2026.
Here's some history:
Brett, Rob and Steve got their start together in their first all original band "Scream Parade” in the Twin Cities. Steve and Brett joined forces in Man Alive (grunge era), made an album and did the thing. Rob and Brett reunited in 57Stitch, Downtread and now Fuzzrd, while Steve was expanding his repertoire and honing his chops in Decibel and most recently Them Pesky Kids (great players!). Full Circle… we’ll take it!
