Mutual aid ask- with even many emergency warning centers at capacity, our comrades are stepping up to provide warming supplies.

The need remains unprecedented: we anticipate needing 150 basic setups (tent, winter sleeping bag, and tarp) to get through January across Minneapolis and St Paul.

Our unhoused residents have been evicted from four camps in South Minneapolis this week. Can you help us raise money to replace tents and supplies? We have only three tents on our shelves.

Last week we made 475 meals - French toast on Monday, and chicken stir-fry on Tuesday!

Next week, we'll do our regular cooking and meal distro on Monday and Tuesday, but we also have a special event on Wednesday: our annual community dinner.

We'll be serving an outdoor meal of baked potatoes and all the fixings with fresh lemonade, and our collaborators at First Church are preparing desserts to share and potted plants to adopt. Come by anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 on Wednesday to sit and meet some new folks, or take a plate to go! The invitation flyer is the last slide of this post - feel free to share!

Hello everyone! As a collective, we are reaching out for support of our fellow volunteer and friend, Isaac–a Black, unhoused, & disabled community member. Late summer produce - like in the stir-fry and fruit cups we served last Tuesday - continues to be abundant! And September is typically the month we most struggle to fill volunteer slots. Last week we served 440 meals, and we need your help to do it again next week (and every week!).
