Enjoying our morning coffee around the fireplace this blustery Saturday morning dreaming of warmer days ahead. We can’t help but admire every detail of this fireplace surround on our recently completed StoneArch project. The porcelain slab used for this masterpiece was meticulously milled down into 9 carefully cut pieces, resulting in a stunning and unique design. From every angle, this beautiful piece offers a captivating view that we absolutely adore. This client decided to transform this otherwise unused closet space into the perfect resting spot for these two English bulldogs.

Outfitted with a custom his and her kennel space with an interior opening so these two siblings can stay near each other at all times. With storage above to house the rest of their necessities, but most importantly the treats!

We had a fantastic evening this past Friday at the Midwest Home Design Awards put on by and a number of other great partners! It was a fantastic evening to connect with other industry peers and admire all the great work in our local market.

The Kenzo team was fortunate enough to have won a number of awards throughout the night. It was an energizing evening to see all the great work being done across the state by the many talented peers throughout the industry!

This solid brass with honed black and white marble tile backsplash from was the perfect mid-century modern compliment to this otherwise modern kitchen remodel.

As the weather changes for the season we can’t help but hold on tight to thought of this perfect summer hangout spot!

This back yard transformation will certainly be missed while we patiently wait for warmer days ahead to enjoy it all again!

Step into this modern kitchen and be greeted by a harmonious blend of style and practicality. The clean lines and smooth surfaces create an uncluttered and streamlined aesthetic, allowing the space to feel open and inviting.

Admiring the transformation of this primary on-site.

This early 2000’s home was in need of a refresh and we did just that!

We removed this old unused jetted tub and replaced it with a large curbless shower system.

This large shower highlights perfectly matched large format Italian striated marble tile on the walls with small marble hexagon tile on the shower floor to pair with the wall tile.

Relocating the vanity was a perfect opportunity to provide some additional custom cabinetry to maximize storage space.

Lastly, we were able to bring in some much needed natural light by adding a solar tube to the ceiling to help brighten this space up!

Wood floors are nearing completion at our Stone Arch Remodel!

This white oak flooring with a mix of straight lay & herringbone patterns coupled with custom brass inlay borders will be a show stopper!

We have entered into the next phase of our Stone Arch remodel downtown.

Huge shoutout to all the wonderful trade partners we get to work with on this one as we have spent the last 4+ months demoing, framing, roughing in all things mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low voltage.

Now we hand it off to the drywall crews as we hit this milestone right on time. We turn the corner next as we head into the finish work!

This recently finished remodel created the perfect entertaining space by removing a wall separating the kitchen and living room which allows these clients to utilize both spaces at the same time when entertaining their favorite guests!

Another major transformation with the team at .creative.

This transformation took us all the way down to the bones as we removed everything including the dropped ceiling allowing us to match the vault with the rest of the main floor. Includes custom full overlay white oak cabinetry to match the new floors, a large island with a waterfall edge, gold cabinetry hardware and plumbing fixtures, and a complete kitchen appliance package.

A quick look back at one of our favorite transformations in 2022 as we flipped this kitchen upside down creating a completely new layout by removing a wall to open the flow to the living room, installing a slat wall to the other side of the staircase to allow sight lines into the dining room, creating a large custom island and installing a large picture window to bring in natural light to accent the bright clean colors used throughout.

As we settle back in following the holiday season, the complete Kenzo Construction Team would like to thank you for your support and wish you a successful and prosperous New Year!

Today we reflect on the past year and the people and places it has brought our way as we officially turn 1 year old.
