It's 1997 again and I'm just fine with it... Going to throw on some Pearl Jam for the drive home and watch "The Real World" tonight for good measure...

A bar in Washington, D.C. is offering free beer during the State of the Union address tonight… but only “until the first insult.”

Random fact (that I just learned and now you will, too): Robin Thicke's dad Alan Thicke wrote and sang the theme song for 'Diff'rent Strokes' (before he'd later star on TV himself as Jason Seaver on 'Growing Pains'), and Robin Thicke's mom Gloria Loring sang the theme song to 'The Facts of Life' (which Alan Thicke wrote as well)!

For anyone not from the Midwest, wait until next winter and then pick a random Midwestern city to visit when the forecast temps suddenly top 55- or 60-degrees in February-- everyone's jamming out, happy, even more friendly than standard "Midwest nice"-- it's a whole vibe.

"Nobody's Fool" with Paul Newman, Jessica Tandy, a young Philip Seymour Hoffman and an uncredited Bruce Willis (he didn't want to be credited because he wanted all of the attention and accolades to be heaved on to Newman) is my favorite movie of all-time and it's now free on YouTube Movies. When you’re essentially on TV from 5:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., you find out over time that viewers are hoping to get some different things out of the news at different times of day. Case in point… 😂
