One of the highlights of our girls’ trip to Door County was visiting Fragrant Isle on Washington Island. We wandered through rows of blooming lavender, gathering our own bouquets as the scent lingered in the warm air, then explored the charming gift shop before leaving with a stack of floral books to inspire our gardens back home.

The entire weekend felt like a perfect blend of relaxation and discovery—antiquing, savoring incredible food, and soaking in the natural beauty that makes Door County so special. I’m so grateful for moments like these and the memories made with Krystina. 🌿✨

There’s something special about surrounding yourself with beautiful things, weathered wood, gathered props, fresh ingredients, garden blooms… and now tiny feathered additions to the farm.

This may be my second year raising chicks, but it was my very first time ordering them online, and honestly, I was a little nervous. Cackle Hatchery made the entire experience feel thoughtful, smooth, and exciting from start to finish. I ordered 9 chicks and opened the box to the sweetest surprise, 12 healthy little peeps, with an extra of each breed tucked inside.
