So, you say that masks are required to ride the bus, but you don't enforce it!! It's indicated everywhere! Yet, people are allowed to get on anyway! There's NO excuse for not wearing one since you have a dispenser right on the bus!! Why bother making the requirement if you don't enforce it? It's simple... no mask no ride!!

How do you expect riders to follow mask mandates when your own bus drivers DO NOT wear masks? This was taken this morning. You can see him in the rear view mirror without a mask. I got on at Morris and off at UWM.

Incase you are unaware there is a damaged shelter eastbound stop on Wisconsin and Jeffereson.

When is your guys stupid mask policy going to be over with?

So does the bus rapid transit that goes to the medical center going to cut the Gold Line after they have that up and running? If so that means that it wouldn't go to hwy 100 and Bluemound anymore. That will be the death of MCTS as we know it.

QUIT HIDING TAXPAYER/BUS PASSENGERS POSTS... and now MCTS cancelled all summerfest bus service

here's another big MCTS bombshell = now
cancelling ALL SPECIAL SUMMERFEST BUS SERVICE... The managing director Dan claims that it's due to school service in september... (1) what weekend school service is he talking about ?
(2) MCTS under his orders is eliminating more bus school service routes like cutting out service to PIUS XI and completely DUMPING the route 76 that travels on south 68th street for the Hamilton High School students.

Please quit the fake MCTS ridership stats that only come from MCTS and not an independent study... and quit this illegal activity.

P.S. The big shot RAPID TRANSIT groundbreaking will eliminate 9 whole minutes from the GOLD LINE... a waste of federal taxpayer money.

Can you please tell me when the freeway flyer will be restarting service to downtown? Businesses are starting to go back to their offices now and many rely on the flyers as their transportation. There seems to be some confusion at my place of business. I didn’t think it was starting back up yet. Thank you

For Women’s History Month, MCTS Salutes Pioneers like Dyonne Todzy. She joined the company in 1975 based at our Kinnickinnic Station. On January 27, 1978, Dyonne made history as the first woman to be an MCTS platform instructor. Platform instructors teach route training, safety and customer service skills to newly hired bus operators. She was also one of among the first two women hired by MCTS as drivers.

Dyonne’s promotion opened the pathway for other women bus operators to follow her in her footsteps. Today, women make up (46%) percent of our bus operators and (33%) of our platform instructors. Dyonne was also the first woman to receive a 10-year safety award. #TBT

REMINDER: Masks are still required onboard all buses in the United States, regardless of one's vaccination status. This federal requirement, which supersedes any local or state mask policies, is expected to last until at least March 18, 2022.

Love can happen anywhere…even on mass transit! Kris Wallner & Tod Wanta met onboard the Route 49, so when we found out they were getting married last spring, we knew we had to help them celebrate.

With help from one of their bridesmaids, we arranged for them to take photos on board one of our buses with the special “We Heart You!” message on the front screen. We also surprised them with a customized bus stop sign to commemorate their special day.

Please help us congratulate Kris & Tod, and wish a very happy Valentine's Day to all of our transit fans!
