During her Route 30 trip, MCTS Operator Stacy H. encountered a young passenger who shared that he was running away from home.
Stacy immediately contacted Dispatch and then stayed with him, offering calm conversation and reassurance during a very difficult moment.
Her compassion and presence helped ensure the young man was supported and ultimately guided safely back home.
Thank you, Stacy, for your kindness and care.

A big thank you to Strong Towns South Milwaukee for installing new benches at bus stops in the community 🚌💙
Small improvements like these can make a big difference for riders waiting for the bus, especially during hot summer days or long commutes.
Did you know? Stand-alone bus stop benches can be added by municipalities, businesses, organizations, or community groups. MCTS owns and maintains benches that are part of bus shelters, while other stand-alone benches are installed and maintained locally.
We appreciate partners like Strong Towns South Milwaukee for helping create a more comfortable rider experience throughout the community!
