This just fu***ng sucks. Sucks. It's horrible for our industry and horrible for audiences. I feel beyond lucky to have worked with Participant on our Messwood film and to have know the late great Diane Weyermann for over 25 years. My heart goes out to everyone at the company - absolutely the finest in the business. Devastated.

Here is a podcast hosted by another wonderful filmmaker, Tom Casciato - talking to us about what it is like to be independents, used to making all of our decisions, then working with the journalistic standards commanded by the series FRONTLINE | PBS - led by the incomparable Raney Aronson. Hear how we made editorial decisions and learned how to combine journalism and storytelling thoughtfully and effectively.
