Corpus Christi Prayer —

O Precious Jesus, The gift of your Body and Blood, shared with us, is unfathomable.

Like manna that satiated our hunger, fill us where we lack.

Like the bread given to Elijah in the desert, sustain us.

Grace us with a glimpse into your love for us,

now and forever, present in the Eucharist.
Amen.

INSPIRATION FOR THE WEEK —The starving Israelites found their physical salvation in manna, “a food unknown to your fathers.” We find our spiritual salvation in the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, a food unknown to too many souls. Blessed are we to partake of the Bread of Life.

This weekend, we celebrate Corpus Christi, the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.

May this sacred celebration draw us closer to Jesus, truly present in the Eucharist, and strengthen our faith in His abiding presence.

Today, many countries celebrate Corpus Christi, honoring Jesus truly present in the Holy Eucharist. A beloved tradition in many places is the creation of beautiful carpets made from colored sawdust, flowers, and natural materials. These intricate works of art are lovingly prepared for the Eucharistic procession, where they become an offering of faith and devotion as Christ passes among His people. ✨🙏🏻✝️
