Small Biz Saturday is around the corner, and in the spirit of shopping small we’ve got a few local maker friends popping up around the Lab to ring in the season with us 🧑‍🎄🌊💫 We’ll also be doing 60% all clothing and shoes in our Sale Room, with new markdowns on boards and wetsuits added to sale stock as well 🤙

Tonight! (Wed 10/8) Join us for an evening of shark science, film, and community in support of

We’ll be screening Near Miss, a short film by Josh Berry that tells the gripping story of a shark encounter and survival, followed by Q&A with CWSP representatives Dr. Paul Kanive and Scot Anderson. We’ll also be raffling off a bunch of epic prizes to raise money for CWSP.

This event is FREE. Film will roll outdoors at 7pm.

Dr. Paul Kanive and Scot Anderson of CWSP have spent over 30 years studying white sharks along the Marin and San Francisco coastline, building the world’s longest-running data set on these iconic predators. Their work has led to dozens of publications advancing scientific understanding and public awareness. Since its founding, CWSP has expanded its education program, bringing the world of white sharks into local classrooms.

Well that was a blast! We hosted a tie dye table at Community Campout today and had so much fun making crazy creations with everyone 🔥 thanks to Cole and the whole MV Rec crew for putting on such a killer event. Everyone tag us in your shirt pics once they dry out tomorrow!
