The Tenacity Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls through sports.

We believe that we can help young women navigate life’s challenges by providing a supportive environment in which they can develop the necessary tools for becoming successful on and off the field. Through these athletic programs, we can help student-athletes become adept at goal setting, problem solving, performing under pressure, and working well with others. It is important that our athletes lea

Tenacity Project is so much more than lacrosse camps. We are a community committed to helping every girl grow as a player, a leader, and a person.

Here, every athlete matters, every voice is heard, and nobody develops alone. Players join a network that has their back through hard seasons and long after their last game. Leadership is built on purpose, through huddles, workshops, and real coaching moments where girls learn to speak up, make decisions under pressure, and lift up the teammates around them.

Lacrosse is the vehicle. What lasts is the confidence, the leadership, and the community a girl carries with her, on and off the field.

Coach Bri is back, and today we are working on defensive footwork. 🥍 When you are playing defense in girls lacrosse, getting your hips around fast is what lets you change direction with the attacker. That is exactly what hip flips train.

You can do these on your own, but they work best as a reaction drill. Have a parent, a teammate, or anyone call out the flips or blow a whistle.

Save this for your next training session and tag the teammate you want to run it with.

Thank you to the athletes who showed up ready to work at this weekend’s Mountain West Sixes Mini-Camp, the families who drove and even flew in to make it happen, and the volunteers and staff who set up the fields, ran check-in, and kept the day going. We had beautiful weather, hours of instruction, and a full day of connection and competition at Trailside Park.

Tenacity Project’s Sixes Mini-Camps pair skill-building, leadership training, and fast-paced girls lacrosse, led by current and former professional players and college coaches. We’re bringing our Sixes camps across the West this fall.

Find your camp, invite a teammate, and register through the Sixes link in bio.

At the end of her freshman season, right as her team was chasing a championship, Ally tore all three hamstrings and went from being the athlete on the field to relearning how to walk. But that year became the one she learned the most about the game. Somewhere in the recovery, she stopped asking why me and started asking what can I do. What can I do to be a better teammate, a better student of the game, more ready for the day I get back?

That is mental resilience, and it is the part of girls’ lacrosse that rarely gets enough training time. Watch Ally tell it in her own words.

Thank you Ally Mastroianni Lacrosse for sharing this with our athletes. 🥍

As Coach Theresa says, set goals that relate to your process more than to outcomes, and identify your obstacles right away. 🥍

Wanting to win a championship or make varsity is natural for any girls lacrosse player. But those are outcomes, and outcomes are never fully in your hands. Your process is. How you train. How you prepare. How you show up every day.

Name your obstacles early, too. When you know what is standing in your way, you can make a plan to get past it.

Here's your Monday Mindset check-in. Open your journal and reflect on:

✅ What is one process goal you are working toward? What is one obstacle standing between you and it, and what is one step you can take this week?

At Tenacity Project, we train the mental side of the game the same way we train the physical. This is one of those reps.
